Sims can have babies with the power of science! Sims can now ask others to use a mix of their genetic material to create new life or just do it themselves…as long as they’ve got the funds. If your Sim doesn’t want to adopt or want to (or can’t) go through a pregnancy, they now have a brand new option. Once your family’s newborns age up into Infants (or if you decide to go the adoption route), they’ll have their own needs, emotions, and sentiments about their caretakers. Infants are now in the game! With the free base game update, you’ll now be able to interact with your young Sims earlier than before and set them up for a lifetime of excitement. Social chemistry will make some Sims click and some Sims clash, and how they navigate these feelings is up to you. If your Sim goes out to meet new people, they might find someone they instantly like who they could be friends with for life. New relationships are getting more dynamic too. What if your Sim’s parents don’t get along with their partner? For you, the choice might be whether you want to keep the peace or stir up some drama.
For example – will they let their parents move in with them? Saying ‘no’ will impact those relationships and saying ‘yes’ could make life at home a lot more complicated. Both planned events like sleepovers and unexpected milestones like having a midlife crisis will shape your Sims and their relationships.įamily is at the center of a lot of the choices and milestones your Sim will be faced with. I enjoy the diverse experiences gaming offers the player. I am an avid video gamer (Sims 4 definitely counts as video gaming, I checked) and particularly enjoy playing the part of a relatively benign overlord in Minecraft. My interest in history has since translated into hours at a time researching everything from the many reasons the Titanic sank (really, it's a wonder she ever left Belfast) to why Minecraft is such a feat of human technological accomplishment. Born and raised in Pretoria, I've always had a deep interest in local history, particularly conflicts, architecture, and our country's rich past of being a plaything for European aristocracy.
